While browsing in a second-hand bookshop last week, I came across a small book written by someone involved in the 1930 attempt to climb what he called Kangchenjunga. AR, writing in the same era, called it Kanchenjunga. Presumably the name is of local (Nepalese ?) origin - does anyone know which would be the more accurate rendering into English script of the original name ?
