A very nice shot.
And it must be illegal to use the shot as one's background, but I am sure if one did it would be an excellent background, although I would never ever bend the rules. At least that is what I tell my 13 year old. Pity she doesn't believe me and has taken to saying "Hush Daddy."
What exactly did my first grade teacher say:
Never use the words nice and very. To indistinct.
But "A shot." seems bare on its own.
Question: How would Nancy have gotten the Coots home from the Lake?
Any ideas on that one?
Is there a glossary of Norfolk words and phrases? As there is for Hampshire, which was written in 1883. Apparently the author who wrote Shipping News read a Newfie Dictionary of Phrases for 2 years before she wrote the book in the early '90s
Can we say '95 for 1995 or does it still mean 1895?
Have a nice day.
