Yes, Rattletrap (in PM) does look something like the Crossley open touring cars pictured. Perhaps the blue one is nearest. But it should have:
(1) Bottom end of doors rounded.
(2) Wheels with wooden or metal (but not wire) spokes.
(3) No second screen between driver (chauffeur) and passengers.

What is just below the windscreen of Rattletrap in AR’s picture? Is it a horn, or is it the headlamp, which is not at the front of the car by/in front of the radiator grille like most cars? Too low to be a mirror.

Does the PM picture show the rear luggage grid referred to in Chapter I, when Roger & Titty (with luggage) get a lift from the station to the wharf with Molly Blackett driving; she dents the mudguard. There is something hanging down below the spare tyre in AR's picture, which could be the luggage grid if it folded down not up when not in use!
