And me Peter! I went there as a child after I had devoured S&A and expexted it to be just like the books (this was also the realisation that AR had mixed various places into one). I have never been back as an adult, and part of the reason is I don't want to be disappointed again.
The Broads are a different matter, the commercialism maybe be more so than in AR's day but otherwise it was all pretty much as he described it.
