Yes it a very different world today.
The presssures on kids and parents by commercial interests is un relenting.
Here in the US it seems far worse even than the UK.
From infants on it seems you must be an instant teenager.
How can it be changed? the only way I see is if there is some form of major worldwide disaster either financial or some other.
Then a complete return to basics.
There is no will amongst the current population and certainly not among politicians to change things.
The current world is controlled by the corporations wish to sell sell regardless of the toll on our children.
The only thing is todays kids know of no other life and I presume are happy the way things are.
