Hi Jenni & Mike - I share your concerns so leave the names out and enjoy interaction with the many of us who just want to talk about the S/A/D's and AR. Only a few people claim 'seniority' because they've been posting here for some time. There is no 'seniority' amongst equals. Please don't be put off.

As to the 'egg-heads' - leave them to their abstruse studies of the real meaning of 'But'. They enjoy that - so let them. The rest of us enjoy the whole feeling and philosophy of the core canon of books. So let us share that together and enjoy it.

Come on - share your feelings. To prompt you, two questions - your favourite book and your most interesting character? I find that a very hard question actually. Because AR drew them all in an interesting way. I suppose that I would choose John as my character. For no rational reason I would choose WDMTGTS because I've been there and done something like that. And they coped so well.

How about you? Please tell us. Cheers both - and enjoy a lovely weekend (because I'm an F1 nut as well and it's NOW!!!) Joe
