I should have added that I compare my GPS co-ordinates against the co-ordinates in Google Earth, which is a free downloadable program. It's a system of satellite images of the entire world with the capability of zooming down to show objects about about ten feet in length. It gives the geographical co-ordinates accurate to about ten feet, but as I pointed out, the co-ordinates are in the degree, minute and second format, while my GPS unit gives them in degree, minute and decimals of minutes.
