Existential Swallow sightings

This is another one of those posts speculating about what happens to characters who feel alive to us, and what happens "between the books."

Swallow is owned by the Jacksons at Holly Howe. Presumably, she is used by other holiday renters. I wonder how Nancy and Peggy would feel when seeing her with strangers aboard. And presumably, they could have been familiar with her before they knew the Swallows. I suspect that they would never say anything to the Walkers about any such sightings, and would probably feel a renewed glow of ownership knowing that Amazon was theirs and no others.

I know such speculation makes some other posters here, wince. But I think it is fun to imagine, and it makes the locations and characters more real to me somehow.
