I think with the rapid development of the motor car in the 1920/30s, Rattletrap (a Trojan) was probably somewhat technologically dated.

TTBAA* debated the parentage of Rattletrap some time ago. The Trojan was eliminated on account of its gearbox. The majority of TTBAA
members concluded that, while not being an exact match for any specific model, Rattletrap had many generic similarities to a Crossley.
