In SA CH19
=====================
Swallow was in smooth water now, sheltered by the high
ground of the promontory. John steered till he could see the
lights of the house reflected in the river. That was the opening
in the reeds. He steered towards it. Presently there were tall
reeds on either side of them. They were in the Amazon River.
"The boathouse is somewhere on the right bank," whispered
John. "That's our left. Tell Roger to keep a look-out to port."
=====================

This says they entered the river first, then came to the boathouse AFTER entering the river. Previously quoted text shows all three of the Beckfoot boats were normally berthed in that boathouse. If there was some other boathouse, what boat would be in that extra one?

After failing to find Amazon in the boathouse, they CONTINUED on up the river. To say that is when they ENTERED the river is incorrect, as they were already in the river even before getting to the boathouse.

So far, I see no justification of the existance of any second Beckfoot boathouse.
