I've often pondered this one too, as I suspect many of us have. I think that the only calling with enough adventure would have been as a foreign correspondent for BBC or a newspaper, but one who continually puts herself 'in harm's way'. We had one, Neil Davis, a photographer who continually went for the dnager spots until he too became a target for a Bangkok sniper.
