At risk of being ignored because there are already a couple of threads in progress, I should like to introduce another thread. A few months ago I posted some comments about the prevalence of sanctuaries in the stories: Peter Duck's cave, the Dog's Home, the blind in GN, the igloo, etc. Well, does anyone know why AR included so many sanctuaries in his books? To my knowledge, he has never been psychologically profiled, thank goodness. It would be nice, however, to know why he was so interested in sanctuaries.
