I don't remember seeing in any of the books, any mention of Christmas or of any specific holidays (Christmas, Easter, etc.)

Well, thinking about it; most of the books are set in summer, which have no specific holidays other than school ones. There may now be some bank holidays in there, but there certainly weren't then.

Winter Holiday is set after Christmas, when they were due back at school.

The only mention I can think of is the Christmas Pudding in BS- and of course that wasn't at Christmas time, nor did they have any brandy. Not even the medicinal kind.

I can't remember any reference to Easter; do any of the stories happen in spring time? Of course, the Easter holidays were always the shortest of the lot, which would make things difficult for real adventures.
