I have been watching a series of fantastic videos by a chap touring England's coastline in a small boat. I reccommend his 'Keep Turning Left' series highly, particularly the video linked below - from the Walton Backwaters (Secret Water). All the videos focus on the beauty of nature and wooden boats, whilst enjoying exploring every creek that can be navigated.
However, in the mini biography of Ransome half-way through this video, the narrator says he has heard talk that Nancy Blackett was "a thinly-disguised portrait of Lenin."
Any ideas who started this madness?
I can't see it myself!!!
