It depends on what you mean by 'mentioned in the books'. The inside cover of GN has a map of the West of Scotland with Oban, Mallaig and Cape Wrath named, and the islands of Skye, Barra, South Uist, Benbecula, North Uist, Harris, and Lewis. There are also stars to show their ports of call which pinpoint Stornoway, Tobermory and others, including St Kilda.
