S&A dedication

I picked up a copy of S&A at the Memorabelia fair yesterday at the NEC. What made me buy it was, it has the original Spurrier maps and the original dedication. When I checked the date, I found out that it was printed in 1960. This got me thinking. The page that replaces the dedication is dated 1958. At what point was the original dedication replaced in the hardbacks. Also, were the maps changed at the same time?
