When I introduced the subject of coincidences (message 6276), it was
really an invitation for list members to mention other examples of
coincidences in AR's novels and how they affected the plot, rather
than a discussion of coincidences per se. It is certainly true that
most writers from time to time have to bring in a coincidence to
develop the plot, but I was just wondering how often AR has done it
and in what context.
