Duncan, if you can't go on about the locations in SA here I don't see where else you can. You go on about them as much as you want.
I like your biographical note but if Windemere is the principle model it is certainly squashed. There is no way that you could have a leisurely lunch S of Rampholme, laze away the afternoon and even dream that you could potter back up the Lake to say Low Wray in time for tea but most palces on Coniston are 'do-able' in a couple of hours with a fair wind.
