I'm sorry that I don't have any info for you, but I do have an idea! Why not make two sites: one could be the lake at whatever scale works and the other could be the island at scale ie a close-up.
It seemms to me a very worthwhile time waster! others being swallow dale and the various main locations: perhaps on a "home building program like sierra's" Dixon's farm, Holly Howe, etc.
On a similar path is there a boat modelling software? a fine challenge would be Nancy of course and the Wildcat and the houseboat... one could go on for ages!
with all of the great links nowadays one could make them available on the net as part of the AR site. Truly a lasting work of interest and a neat little bit of history.
