I live in Canada where mountains are not unknown. I have climbed a couple
and have yet to see any sign of a register. I think I can say with
certainly that there are also no registers or guestbooks on the summits
of any mountains in the United States. I suppose you could scratch
your name and the date on a rock, or leave a Big Mac wrapper lying
around if you really want to be remembered by posterity...
