Seem to remember this was discussed about 12 mts ago and that pub near Frinton was noted and a few months later it was burgled!!

Also discussed were pubs that got nicknames as a result of bad paint jobs.

However, which red/white lion (white horse ???) were you thinking of? In my view, most of the Broads pubs up dykes are on the Southern rivers, only The Pleasure Boat, Hickling and (at a stretch) The Maltsters at Ranworth fit that bill up north. Unless something has been shut down sive the 30's?

I think the fascination is that this seem to be the only unlocated location in the Broads tales
