Although a three meter tide difference is reasonably significant it is not the Bay of Fundy's 10 plus meters. I'm trying to picture what sort of flow Harwich would have. Fundy is like a roaring river. One must really know the currents and tide tables. How much force was on the Goblin with its hastily set, obviously short anchor chain?
