First, for anyone else who may be reading this, many of the Coniston levels are deadly. Only to be entered with an experienced guide.
Having got that off my chest the Miner's Bridge trial is relatively safe. It's only a trial so there are no false floors, hidden shafts or decaying hoppers full of ore. But it's a blind trial so there is no air circulation. There are wooden ways on the floor which are rotting slowly. Test for gas, and leave someone outside with a mobile telephone.
