There are three possibilities:
i) The water [for the vases] is in the bathroom.
ii) Put a jug of [cold] water [for the GA] in the bathroom.
iii) Make sure there's a jug of [hot] water in the bathroom [when the GA arrives].
I think the consensus view so far is that it's unlikely to be (ii). (i) - if everybody is right about bathrooms always having plumbing - is a tautology. Which leaves us with (iii).
