Interesting photographs Rob, but... I always imagined (I suspose from AR's drawings) that the hillside the cave was in was much lower. If your location is the right one then my imagination has been doubted! In some ways this is why I am a fan of the East Anglian books as their locations are easily identified and have only been very slightly modified.
