Hmmm...I love the photos of the cave, although John's point about height is well-taken. I can easily picture heather covering the entrance. I still hope to find a "Swallowdale" large enough & flat enough to fit in four tents without the occupants slipping out downhill at night. So far, all the best possibilities seem to be on quite a slope. I wouldn't put it beyond Ar to gathered together the best features of a number of different places to create what we know as Swallowdale, in much the same way he created "The Lake".
