At the risk of being labelled 'sad', may I recommend the Bank Ground Webcam as a way of passing a peaceful few minutes. You can choose from over half a dozen viewing angles. I recommend 'View from Bank Ground' as a good starter. It is calm today, so the image looks like a still photo, but it is not - you may see vehicles flickering along a road on the far left, and the clouds move too. Sooner or later, a boat should appear, but it may be a long wait. BTW there is one view called 'Swallows and Amazons' - I haven't yet worked out which view this is supposed to be and why, but perhaps others can fathom this one out.

(For anyone new to the world of Ransome, Bank Ground is accepted as the real life version of the farm 'Holly Howe' which features in many of the Swallows and Amazons stories. It is at the north end of Coniston Water, in the English Lake District.)
