I'm starting the canon over again and am coming to the conclusion that Titty's imagination reaches its highest level in SD. (My favorite bit- the traffic on the road being Aztecs!) For that matter, all of the Swallows seem more imaginative- there's the bit about deciding, once they've moved to Swallowdale, between being explorers and savages in the wilderness. Guess it's a good thing they didn't settle on being Aztecs- rather than a voodoo experiment, we might have found the GA with her heart torn out.
