Nothing to apologise for!

My point is that I do want children to carry on reading AR's books.

Two words, one in SW and one in BS, will be enough to stop a lot of children who would love the stories from going any further with them. My elder son would hurl a book with those words in across the room.

In the interest of the books not just remaining on, but flying off, the bookshelves, I would, for quite pragmatic reasons, edit those two words in future reprints.

The Chinglish in ML presents a much bigger problem, of course. Personally I would rewrite the dialogue in more authentic Chinglish.

I think this is a serious point, one to which the Literary Executors should give very serious consideration.
