OF COURSE - thank you. I suppose I need to dive into the battered green hardbacks one more time, but my recollection is that it was Falmouth where the Swallows were taught the rudiments of sailing???
Apropos the junk - I have seen a junk in St. Mawes harbour, but long after the publication of MISSEE LEE. Maybe it was a local anomaly, around for some time. Does anyone know of a resident West Country junk?
Are any TARS going ON the Tall Ships Race? I'm looking for a berth as a paying hand ( not exactly a cadet any more!).
Don't suggest the ICC as I've already talked to them & found they plan a 3 week cruise, too long for me, as I would just like Falmouth-Lisbon. All suggestions gratefully received. kc.
