after Great Northern

I've just been re-reading Great Northern? and began to wonder, once more, what happens to the characters (not the real models, but the enduring fictional ones). How they deal with war and the changes in the world - not to their liking - at least Titty and I imagine Nancy.
Any one else care to carry on this thread?
