It looks like I may be in the minority. Perhaps it all stems back to when I first read the books (as a child) and in my mind all the ones that happened on a "big boat" were in a separate class. AT that time though, I thought they were all real.
But I still think Nancy was more mature in her thinking in Picts and Martyrs. She thought through a lot more of the possibilities then.
