From information provided earlier in this thread, I've now put together a composite map of Hamford Water, which I intend using as the basis of a map to match the earlier ones of The Lake and Wild Cat Island (mentioned on TarBoard some time ago.) Whereas the earlier maps were in black-and-white -- because, being of imaginary territory, they necessarily had to be drawn from scratch -- the new one will be probably be coloured. In producing the composite, I've taken out material that would have been irrelevant to the children, like street names, mapping grid, and so on.

I've uploaded a copy of the composite for anyone who might be interested. A good deal of colour and definition had to be sacrificed to get the file down to a small enough size to upload. (The quality will, of course, be retained in the printed version when it's complete.) Nevertheless, I think it's possible to trace most of the children's episodes on the picture.
