My first boat was an Albacore which was about 15 feet long, had a steel center board, a jib/genoa, and a main with roller furling. I think having two sails is important as it gives the crew something to do. The Albacore was good in strong winds, and could carry four and considerable gear quite well. Can one still buy an Albacore???
