Oh no, it gets worse! Firstly stuff like 'Joseph etc' and 'JCS' are exactly why the prospect of an S&A musical horrifies me. Then you have to bring Britten into in, I admit the sea interludes are atmospheric but most of the rest of his cannon is dire (in my opinion of course!)
Please, S&A is a novel no more no less. The TV series showed how changing media can mess things up, and the film only manages to scrape through. Leave it alone!
