Not at all, old chap. That Britten/Ransome article was most interesting and enjoyable to research and included visits to the Brotherton Library, Leeds, and the Britten-Pears archive in Aldeburgh, Suffolk. I do not, however, intend researching a similar project regarding the music of Neil Hannon and the Divine Comedy, about whom I admit I know very little. Let's give them and the National Theatre a chance, it can't do that much harm and if the end result opens the Ransome door for more people, then why not?
