I always read the books in cronilogical order (to the characters) so the order is, SA, PD, SD, WH, CC, PP, WD, SW, BS, ML, PM, GN.
The Big Six could be read directly after Piegon Post, as it is seperate from the Goblin books. I'm sure other people have their own favourite order.
