Question for Ian and whoever else sails on the Orwell, and to the Walton Backwaters...what is Pin Mill and Secret Water like now? How different are they from when Ransome (and Maurice Griffiths) sailed there in the thirties? I have heard that there is at least one yacht club in the Walton Backwaters; is Swallow Island overrun with yachties?
