Great stuff there, but the posts following it were about TarBoard content rather than Beckfoot. In this restatment of Jock's question of what inspired Beckfoot, I'd like to start by defining the problem, looking at various contenders, and also possible locations separate from the buildings on their sites. I'll begin that in the next message rather than make this one too long.
I think a thread about who the Amazons were would be fantastic, but it only touches on the Beckfoot building thread when Amazon like girls lived in the various houses that might have lent their characteristics
to Beckfoot.
