if you wish to have a 'brainstorming session', why not just get on with it?

Peter, you've quoted my post out of context. I said, it's like brainstorming. TarBoard, like many human endeavours, roughly conforms to a Pareto distribution. 20% of the posts are pure gold and convey really valuable information and insights about AR and closely related matters, the other 80% are about plumbing, trains, pork pies. 'what I had for breakfast', Anne of Green Gables, the next issue of Mixed Moss and 'what I like/dislike about other TarBoarder's posts'.

The point about anything which conforms to a Pareto distribution is you can't have the gold without the dross. Or to put it in railway terms. When Dr Beeching and his friends cut down 66% of the UK's passenger railway network, they did not eliminate the loss British Railways was making, in fact it got worse, because there was a massive drop in traffic on the so-called profitable lines.
