,,,,, like those in the Norfolk Broads and the North sea, ( Coot Club, Big Six, We Didn't Mean to Go to Sea, and Secret Water) are, with a name change or two, absolutely real. The charts in Secret Water would do for exploration today, so little has changed, and the locations of We Didn’t Mean to Go to Sea are still there to be found, and sailed over. Which reminds me,,,,,,,,,,
The channels approaching Flushing HAVE changed. But I suspect that the route taken by Goblin after the Pilot came aboard might be the same today as it was in the 30’s. The banks have changed so much that we might be back where we started. Does anyone have charts or pilot books of that time? I would love to find the lat/long of the Deurloo buoy and channel .
