Bill, I enjoyed those films also but would disagree with you on the casting in one respect. I found that casting Port and Starboard as about 6-7 years old pretty well scuppered the believability of their taking off on the wherry to join up with the Teasel, and I have wondered whether children watching the Coot Club film would find that unpersuasive. I suspect the big problem was finding any identical twins much less ones of the right age and appearance.
