Not all Susans are dull sandwich makers, I still have fond memories of suzi quattro in a leather cat-suit... AR's Susan is a bit of a junior GA, but someone like that is needed to make the stories credible and lift them in to a more plausible realm than say secret 7/famous 5 tales. The one prime character who I think Ransome never gave much attention to and never rounded out was Peggy. We don't see anything from her perspective, living in Nancy's shadow, and acting as an amazon reflection of Susan. Her only claim to fame is a fear of thunder and the ability to quack. I'm sure she would have a story to tell.
Another untold story is what the two families got up to before that fateful summer. Before capn. Flint burried himself in his book to the exclusion of his neices. What hi-jinks went on then?
