I can't believe that Prue Eckett, a woman, could say such things about Susan. Susan is interfacing with the imaginary world inhabited by her brothers and sister in the best way she knows, in fact the only way. She is vital 'ballast' to keep the wild energy and fears of young children from going right over the top. Remember Susan's hand reaching out to Titty's in the dark in SD, when Titty was about to have some sort of nervous breakdown? Susan is a vital, and largely unacknowledged, component in WD. I could go on. Prue, I really sometimes wonder if you ever read the damn books!
