Could Ed Kiser advise what the word-count is for the AR novels he has typed up please? The Red Fox paperbacks look quite substantial compared with most of the skinny current chidrens/teenagers books in the bookshops! SD is the longest, and WD & PM the shortest.

The titles, arranged in order of the number of the last (text) page in the Red Fox edition (ie by size) are:

SD - 512
PD - 475
PP - 433
BS - 424
SW - 422
SA - 416
GN - 410 (but 411 is a picture)
CC - 406
ML - 401
WH - 395
WD - 389
PM - 388

In the hardback Cape editions the last page of both GN & WD is 351, though the Red Fox edition of GN seems to have 21 more pages than WD, or have I miscounted?
