Magnus--your bunloaf looks like a recipe I have called "Tea Brack". Stuffed with raisins & currants, mine is flavored with strong tea (with or without brandy), lemon peel & nutmeg & allspice, and it does have eggs. I don't ice it. The bunloaf recipe we have is a light, sweet yeasted bread studded with fruit.
