Roger's plan looks OK to me, but what worries me far more is the excessive number of typos and errors in what would otherwise be an excellent book. There is a typo almost on every page of 'Jibbooms and Bobstays'.
On the page after the Beckfoot plans, there is "promontary" (sic), and so it goes on. The most egregious error is on p. 72 - "fo's'sle" - this monstrosity occurs twice until finally they get it right - "fo'c'sle". And the book was written by sailors! Could not somebody have read the proofs?
Could Amazon Publications perhaps reissue this otherwise fine book, updated and with the errors corrected?
