Having only just discovered Arthur Ransome in my 60th year and this board as well I presume that the following three point have probably been discussed before. Why do these children never have auguments or even bits of tiffs ? Why this great concern for fresh milk every morning ? I know they couldn't keep it fresh then but really ??? I think that rounding off nearly every meal with apples sounds like a sure stomach ache inducer. Plus I love the books !!
