At the beginning of CC when she makes Dick wait in the carriage instead of going to look at the engine, or PM when she panics over the water on the floor of the Dog’s Home from the leak in the roof.
In PM of course, when Nancy says that Dot is a good cook, Dot does point out that while she has watched Susan cook, she herself has not cooked. But then in PM she cooks the rabbit that Jacky has given them, and impresses Nancy who wants to live off the land rather than dig things out of tins as Susan does (instant food?).
Can Nancy cook, does Nancy cook?
In WH though, Nancy’s idea of everyone ambushing the Doctor’s car and jumping out to stop it, which the careful Susan vetoes, is rather dangerous!
