As a respite from the Beckfoot complications, here is a building with only one room - just draw yourself a rectangle. Seriously, renovation of the Dogs Home has now been completed. I have not seen it myself, but photographs of the finished work were on show at the recent TARS IAGM. The good news for Tarboarders is that no window frame has been fitted. However, there is no door either. The Forestry Commission have probably taken the view that as there isn't a window, there's not much point in fitting a door.
They seem to have done a good job, with virtually a new roof. It all looks very new at the moment, but it will only take a few years for the moss and bracken to return. I hope to get some images soon.
